How often, and how much of the work

Fifteen percent used AI daily in May 2026. Two percent said it did all or most of their work.

In May 2026, 15% of US employees used AI at work daily, Gallup says. On the same wave, 47% said their organization had integrated AI, and 30% used it a few times a week or more.

The 47% is an answer about the organization. The 15% and the 30% are answers about the person.

Pew asked a different question in September 2025: how much of the work AI does. Two percent of US workers said all or most. Twenty-one percent said at least some.

A workplace that lines itself up against the 15% is comparing frequency. The share of the job, on this site, is Pew's 2%, from September 2025, on Pew's own survey.
